Clinchos connects to advertising platforms for read-only reporting only. Each merchant connects their own account through the platform's own consent screen and can disconnect at any time. We never create, edit, pause or delete campaigns, budgets, ads or audiences on any platform, and we place no ads. This page is part of our policies, alongside our privacy policy, which covers how data is stored and deleted.
Google Ads
How Clinchos uses the Google Ads API
Clinchos uses the Google Ads API for read-only reporting. Each merchant connects their own Google Ads account through Google's OAuth consent screen and can disconnect it at any time. We never create, edit, pause or delete campaigns, budgets, keywords, ads or any other entity — the integration performs no write operations of any kind.
What we read. Daily cost, clicks and conversions per campaign and ad group, and shopping performance per product, using the reporting queries the API provides for those views.
What we do with it.We match that spend to the merchant's Shopify orders and their real product costs, then show profit per product, per day and per campaign — so they can tell which products earn money after advertising rather than guessing from revenue.
Who sees it.Only that merchant. Each account's data is held in an isolated workspace, is never combined with or shown to another merchant, is not resold, and is not used to train anything.
Timezones.Ad spend is re-bucketed from the ad account's timezone into the store's, so spend and revenue are compared on the same day rather than being silently offset.
Clinchosis a paid subscription product for merchants and the agencies that manage them. It is not an advertising reseller, does not manage spend on a merchant's behalf, and places no ads.
Meta Ads
How Clinchos uses the Meta Marketing API
Clinchos uses the Meta Marketing API for read-only reporting via the ads_readpermission. Each merchant connects their own ad account through Meta's OAuth consent screen and can disconnect it at any time. We never create, edit, pause or delete campaigns, ad sets, ads, audiences or budgets — the integration performs no write operations of any kind, and we place no ads.
What we read. Daily spend, impressions and clicks per campaign and ad set from the Insights endpoints. We do not read, store or build audiences, and we request no permission that would let us.
What we do with it.We set that spend against the merchant's Shopify orders and their entered product costs, so they can see what Facebook and Instagram actually earned after product cost, refunds and payment fees — separately from Google, rather than blended into one number.
Who sees it.Only that merchant. Each account's data sits in an isolated workspace, is never combined with or shown to another merchant, is not resold, and is not used to train anything.
Timezones.Spend is re-bucketed from the ad account's timezone into the store's, so a EU ad account on a US store still lines up day for day with the orders it produced.
TikTok Ads
How Clinchos uses the TikTok Business API
Clinchos uses the TikTok Business API for read-only reporting. Each merchant connects their own TikTok advertiser account through TikTok's authorisation screen and can revoke it at any time. We never create, edit, pause or delete campaigns, ad groups, ads or budgets, and we place no ads.
What we read. Daily spend, impressions and clicks per campaign and ad group from the reporting endpoints.
What we do with it.We match that spend to the merchant's Shopify orders and product costs so TikTok appears as its own line in their profit and loss, rather than being averaged in with their other channels.
Who sees it.Only that merchant, in an isolated workspace. Never combined with another merchant's data, never resold, never used for training.
Timezones.Spend is re-bucketed from the advertiser account's timezone into the store's, so spend and revenue are compared on the same day.
Pinterest Ads
How Clinchos uses the Pinterest Ads API
Clinchos uses the Pinterest Ads API for read-only reporting. Each merchant connects their own Pinterest ad account through Pinterest's OAuth consent screen and can disconnect it at any time. We never create, edit, pause or delete campaigns, ad groups, pins or budgets, and we place no ads.
What we read. Daily spend, impressions and clicks per campaign and ad group from the analytics endpoints.
What we do with it.We set that spend against the merchant's Shopify orders and product costs, so Pinterest shows its own return rather than disappearing into a blended figure.
Who sees it.Only that merchant, in an isolated workspace. Never combined with another merchant's data, never resold, never used for training.
Timezones.Spend is re-bucketed from the ad account's timezone into the store's before it is compared to revenue.
